It is always nice when an opinion you have about a former player is shared by an honored guest at the Hall of Fame Dinner. This opinion is by a former team mate. Dorsey Levens gave an outstanding speech about the honor of being here as an inductee. He talked about game day and living in Green Bay.
At the end of his eloquent speech he said it is going to be hard to see #4 come back to Lambeau in purple. He said if you don't like it, boo him, he can take it, he's a man. But, in the end when all of this is over and he retires for good, welcome him back and embrace a great Packer.
The crowd cheered and applauded....at least those who get it.
